Over the past five years OTIS UKI has been a critical part of the construction of 22 Bishopsgate. As of 30th November, we are happy to announce that the building’s ownership granted practical completion (PC) to the developer, of which the vertical transportation package was a key requirement of PC.

This was an international effort with a team of project managers, technical experts, adjustors, and engineers from >12 nationalities. The project showcases some of OTIS’s latest technologies including 3 SkyBuild “jump” lifts which supported the General Contractor on the construction side, and once turned over to Service, the Property Management will benefit from OTIS’s Compass destination dispatch.

Since February, our New Equipment team has been working collaboratively with our Service team to complete a seamless handover for the tenants. The efforts have been recognized by our customer and resulted in the recent securing of a significant maintenance contract.
