London is a busy and constantly evolving hub of innovation. This spirit of creativity and forward thinking is personified by the City’s newest resident; Twentytwo.
Setting new standards for workspaces in London and globally, Twentytwo’s people-centered design seeks to increase wellness and engagement and ultimately make a significant and positive impact on its occupiers.
Upon its completion in 2019, the 62-storey and 278-metre-tall, building will meet the changing needs of one of the world’s most famous cities, using cutting-edge design to increase the wellness, engagement and productivity of its 12,000 strong community.
At the heart of this "vertical village" are the fastest set of Otis SkyRise® double-deck lifts in the UK. Moving thousands of people at eight metres per second, these lifts provide quick access to all of Twentytwo’s community spaces.
There is a lot to do, with a fresh food market, innovation hub, gym, wellbeing retreat and spa, curated "art walk", business club, cycle hub, destination restaurant, as well as London’s highest free public viewing gallery.
Businesses need healthy, happy workforces in order to thrive, but they also need smart designs and connectivity. Twentytwo’s smart building design means that residents are never without WiFi or uninterrupted 5-bar phone signal, but also benefit from Otis’ CompassPlus® destination control system, smart lobby check-ins, intelligent building management and safety systems, and 100 percent power resilience.

The owners are pursuing WELL certification, so businesses and employees can be sure that the environment where they work, play and relax is always acting in a way that treats their health and wellness as a priority. By putting people first, Twentytwo helps businesses get the best out of their people.
The architects and designers are putting wellbeing and productivity at the centre of the building’s design. Across the building’s 100,000+ sq ft. of community space, the focus is on supporting people and businesses by offering them the space and amenities they need to work in the best possible way.
"To walk past this in 10, 15, 20 years and say that I have been a part of this is just an amazing feeling." says Kade Peters, Otis project manager for Twentytwo.
Designed to become the City’s first "vertical village", the building features floor to ceiling glass that lets in 20 percent more daylight and maximises the stunning views across the city. The first occupier is insurer Hiscox which has signed a lease over three floors of Twentytwo.
Twentytwo will be easily accessible as it’s just a few minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Crossrail station and close to multiple tube stations, Moorgate and Bank to name a few. There are two office entrances at Crosby Square a beautifully landscaped public square, complete with an outdoor café and terrace, and two entrances on Bishopsgate all with easy access to office floors.
